The Peenbeets

episode guide header

The Peenbeets series began in 1992 when General Structures CEO Craig Koon stumbled into the Blue Flaming Bar (he needed to pee) in Austin, Texas. He was in town at a Showscan convention promoting the latest Starco direct-to-video sequel Awesome Johnson starring Carl Weathers. What he saw was the rawest of the raw, pure pop perfection in four easy to swallow tablets. He knew then that he had to take these guys and call a doctor in the morning. Years later a third pilot was accepted by ABC Network (the first was deemed too "cerebral", the second was deemed "a piece of shit") and the rest as they say is history.
